Kevin has been providing sound financial advice for more than 30 years. He is motivated by a desire to help his clients live better lives. Has been an independent advisor since 1997, all with the same dealership. He manages approximately $80 million on behalf of approximately 400 families. He prides himself on establishing a much deeper understanding of his clients than is usually found in the industry. He seeks to understand what the real hopes and dreams of his clients are, as well as their fears, challenges and anxieties. With this understanding, as well as an open and honest relationship between Kevin and his clients, Kevin works to help his clients live better lives through effective financial planning.

Kevin works to help his clients live better lives through effective financial planning. He also understands the importance of mentorship of The Smith Team members. He sees the mentorship of his team as a way to stay well informed on the lives and challenges of younger generations. At the same time, he is able to pass on his wisdom from his experience to his team members.

Kevin is a graduate of Saint Mary's University with a major in economics. Kevin has been able to advise clients in mutual funds since 1989 and has completed the Canadian Securities Course as well as the Professional Financial Planning Course. He enjoys studying and reading economics, World history, and current Global events. Kevin is married to Janet and they have two grown children and nine grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys fly fishing for trout and salmon, travelling, photography and rebuilding and maintaining old British sports cars.
